The Colorado Eagles return home to kick off a three-game homestand against the Ontario Reign.
Colorado is coming off a 4-1 win over the Tucson Roadrunners on Sunday. Goaltender Parker Gahagen stopped 35 of the 36 shots he faced, while forwards T.J. Tynan, Alex Newhook, Shane Bowers, and Riley Woods all netted goals, as the Colorado Eagles defeated the Tucson Roadrunners, 4-1. The Eagles finished the game 1-for-4 on the power play and 2-for-2 on the penalty kill, as Colorado went a perfect 11-for-11 on the penalty kill in the three-game series against the Roadrunners.
The Ontario Reign will travel to the Budweiser Events Center for the first time this season. Ontario, currently 10-18-4-0 is coming off of a 4-2 loss to the San Jose Barracuda on Sunday. Goaltender Jean-Francois Berube suffered the loss in net allowing 18 out of 22 shots on goal. The Reign went 2 for 3 on the power play Sunday and outshot the Barracuda 35 to 22.
Colorado will face Ontario six times this season, with three of those games taking place at the Budweiser Events Center. The season series is currently tied at 1-1-0.

Roster Alert
Forwards Logan O’Connor, Liam O’Brien, Kiefer Sherwood, Miikka Salomaki, and Martin Kaut are recalled by the Avalanche along with defensemen Jacob MacDonald, Kyle Burroughs, Dan Renouf, Keaton Middleton, Conor Timmins, and goaltender Adam Werner.
On Tuesday the Avalanche signed defenseman Justin Barron to a three-year, entry-level contract. Barron, 19, was selected by the Avalanche in the first round (25th overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft. Barron will not be available for Wednesday night’s game.
Colorado - Ontario Connections
Reign defenseman Mark Alt was the Eagles captain from 2018-2020. Alt signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Los Angeles Kings in October of 2020. Also from the Reign, forward Mikey Eyssimont is a native of Littleton, Colorado.
