Game Preview
Tuesday’s matchup will be the first time the Eagles have faced the Condors this season. Colorado was originally scheduled to play Bakersfield at home April 2nd and 3rd but had the games rescheduled due to roster constraints impacting the Condors.
Bakersfield is currently 14-9-0-1 and is coming off of a 4-1 W over the San Jose Barracuda on Saturday. Condors forward Cooper Marody is second in all of the AHL for points (16 goals, 11 assists), and forward Tyler Benson is fourth (8 goals, 18 assists).
The Eagles are coming off of a 4-1 win over the Texas Stars on Sunday. Kiefer Sherwood notched two goals and an assist, while fellow forward T.J. Tynan netted a goal and two assists, as Colorado defeated the Texas Stars, 4-1 on Sunday. The Eagles finished the contest going 3-for-4 on the power play and a perfect 5-for-5 on the penalty kill, as Colorado has now scored at least one power-play goal in each of its last eight games. Hunter Miska earned the win in net, stopping 27 of the 28 shots he faced.
Colorado has an all-time record of 10-5-0 against the Condors. Tuesday will be the first time the Eagles have seen the Condors since February 22nd, 2020 when Colorado won in overtime 5-4.

Roster Alert
Recalled by the Colorado Avalanche: Logan O’Connor, Jacob MacDonald, Kyle Burroughs, Jayson Megna, Peyton Jones, Liam O’Brien, Kiefer Sherwood, Dan Renouf, Conor Timmins.
Defenseman Greg Pateryn was acquired by the San Jose Sharks on Saturday. The Avalanche traded Pateryn and a 2021 fifth round draft pick in exchange for goaltender Devan Dubnyk. Forward Josh Dickinson was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday in exchange for Carl Soderberg.
The Avalanche recalled forward Kiefer Sherwood to the taxi squad on Monday. Defenseman Miles Gendron was also signed to a professional tryout agreement.
Defenseman Keaton Middleton was reassigned to the Eagles Tuesday morning and Dan Renouf and Conor Timmins were recalled by the Avalanche.
