Megna Reassigned to Eagles, Four Recalled by Avalanche

WINDSOR, CO. – The Colorado Eagles, proud AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, have announced that forward Jayson Megna has been reassigned to the Eagles by the team’s NHL affiliate. In addition, forwards Martin Kaut and Miikka Salomaki have been recalled by the Avalanche along with defenseman Keaton Middleton and goaltender Adam Werner.
Megna has netted six goals in seven AHL games this season with Colorado. Those six goals are currently tied for third on the team. In addition, the 31-year-old has also skated in four NHL contests with the Avalanche. Megna has posted 104 goals and 105 assists in 362 total AHL games with Colorado, Hershey, Utica, Hartford and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He has also registered 10 goals and 10 assists in 125 NHL contests with Colorado, Vancouver, Pittsburgh, and the New York Rangers.
Colorado will return to action when the Eagles travel to the Tucson Convention Center Arena in Tucson, Arizona to take on the Tucson Roadrunners on Thursday, April 22nd at 7:30pm MT. Fans can catch every game this season live on “The Home of the Colorado Eagles,” 92.9 The Bear or on AHLTV.
