Eight Eagles Players Named to Avalanche Postseason Roster

On Saturday, July 25th, the NHL concluded Phase 3 (Formal Training Camps) with no positive test results for COVID-19 among the 4,256 tests administered. With Phase 3 complete, NHL teams announced their final rosters as they prepared to enter their respective hub cities.
Each team participating in the Stanley Cup Qualifiers is permitted 31 players, which the teams finalized Sunday afternoon. After a short Training Camp period with the Avalanche, eight Colorado Eagles players were named to the final postseason roster.

Eagles players that have made the postseason roster suited for the Avalanche in 68 games during the 2019-20 regular season. Logan O'Connor, TJ Tynan, and Mark Barberio highlight the list as they have seen the most NHL action this season. Both O'Connor and Tynan recorded their first NHL point this season with the Avalanche. Shane Bowers the lone Eagles player without NHL experience. Bowers skated with Eagles this year and recorded 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in 48 outings.
Colorado will face the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. MT in an exhibition contest before playing its first Stanley Cup Qualifiers game against the division-rival St. Louis Blues at 4:30 p.m. MT on Aug. 2 at Rogers Place.
