Eagles travel to Bakersfield, face Condors for first time this season

The Colorado Eagles will face off against the Bakersfield Condors tonight in the first of three games of California this week. This marks the first meeting of the two teams this season, and the first of eight times the two teams will face off in the 2021-22 campaign.
The two teams met three times last season. Colorado won only one of those matchups by a score of 6-2. The last time the two teams met was May 5, 2021, which saw the Condors come out on top by a more narrow margin of 2-1.
Colorado’s all-time record against Bakersfield is 11-7-0.

Roster Report
Forwards Jayson Megna, Martin Kaut and defenseman Jacob MacDonald are all currently recalled to the Avalanche.
Mikhail Maltsev was recently reassigned to the Eagles after making the trip to Florida with the Avalanche to play the Panthers and the Lightning. Maltsev has played in three games with the Colorado Avalanche this season.
