Eagles Search for Same Success on Second Night in Tucson

The Colorado Eagles will match up against the Tucson Roadrunners on the second night of their two-game series in Tucson this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
The Eagles picked up both points from last night’s game after coming back for a win in a shootout. Forward Shane Bowers netted the first goal of the game early in the second period, followed by two Tucson goals scored only a minute apart in the third period.
Dylan Sikura scored the game-tying goal nearing the end of the third period, sending the game into overtime and eventually a shootout. Forward Martin Kaut scored the only goal in the shootout, winning the game for the Eagles. Goaltender Justus Annunen made 28 saves on 30 shots, recording his eighth victory of the season.

Forwards Cal Burke and Mikhail Maltsev and goaltender Trent Miner were recently reassigned to the Colorado Eagles from the Avalanche taxi squad. Goaltender Hunter Miska currently sits on the Colorado Avalanche taxi squad.
Defenseman Andrew Nielsen has been recalled to the Colorado Eagles from the Utah Grizzlies. The Eagles also reassigned defensemen Charle-Edouard D’Astous and Luke Martin, along with goaltender Peyton Jones to the Grizzlies.
