Eagles Meet Heat Again On The Road
Mar 30, 2022
The Colorado Eagles are hoping to clinch their playoff spot with a series against the Stockton Heat this week. The first game of the series is tonight at 7:30 pm MST in Stockton, California.
The last time the two teams met was two weeks ago at the Budweiser Events Center where the Eagles split the series with the Heat.
The first game was a back and forth battle between the two teams. Stockton started the scoring early in the first period but could not gain the momentum they were hoping for. In the second period Jean-Luc Foudy and Andreas Wingerli both netted goals, tying up the game 2-2. In the final twenty minutes of the game Jayson Megna and Shane Bowers each scored a goal, securing the Eagles win against Heat, 4-3. Eagles goaltender Justus Annunen had 28 saves on 31 shots.
