Eagles Look to Heat Up Stockton
Nov 26, 2021
The Eagles will host the Stockton Heat for the first night of back-to-back matchups at the Budweiser Events Center tonight. It will be the first time the two teams have met at the BEC since the 2020 season.
The first meeting between the two teams saw the Eagles fall to the Heat, 6-3. The Heat barely outshot the Eagles, recording 33 shots to Colorado’s 31. Colorado only managed to get 3 of those shots past Stockton’s goaltender, Adam Werner. Heat forward Adam Ruzicka scored a hat trick, the team’s first since the 2020 season. Forwards Kiefer Sherwood, Alex Beaucage, and Andreas Wingerli all found the back of the net in the loss. Eagles goalie Hunter Miska suffered the defeat in net, allowing 6 goals on 33 shots.
Colorado is still searching for their first win against the Heat this season.
