Eagles Head to Texas to Wrap Season Series with Stars
Nov 12, 2021
The Eagles are looking to notch a pair of wins as they take on the Texas Stars in a weekend series in Cedar Park.
Last Sunday’s game against the Reign was a nail-biter, with Ontario scoring four goals in the first and second periods. Colorado retaliated in the first, with Dennis Gilbert getting the Eagles on the board. The Eagles came back fighting in the third. Jordan Gross scored two power-play goals in the third period, one of them with an assist from Dylan Sikura, extending his point streak to nine games. But the Eagles came up just short, ending their win streak at three games.
Since Colorado’s last meeting with Texas, the Stars are 1-1. The Eagles won both of the previous games against Texas this season. Tonight’s tilt will see the Eagles looking to complete the season sweep of the Stars.
