Eagles Fight to Continue Playoff Run After Second Loss Against Heat

The Colorado Eagles will fight to stay in the Calder Cup Playoffs against the Stockton Heat in game three of the Pacific Division Finals at the Budweiser Events Center tonight at 7:05 pm MST.

 

Stockton leads the best of five series 2-0 after goaltender Dustin Wolf made 27 saves to earn his second-consecutive shutout of the postseason, as the Heat earned a 1-0 win over the Colorado Eagles on Tuesday night. Justus Annunen was solid in net for the Eagles, stopping 23 of the 24 shots he faced in the contest. Colorado finished the night 0-for-2 on the power play, while Stockton connected on one of their four opportunities on the man-advantage.
