Eagles Face Bakersfield for First Time at Home
Dec 10, 2021
The Colorado Eagles will host the Bakersfield Condors tonight at the Budweiser Events Center for the first home series between the two teams this season.
The first meeting between the two teams saw the Eagles fall to the Condors, 5-4 in California. Bakersfield outshot Colorado, having 31 shots on goal to the Eagles’ 21. Colorado was able to get four of those shots past Bakersfield’s goaltender Ilya Konovalov, with forwards Kiefer Sherwood and Dylan Sikura each notching a goal and two assists. Eagles goaltender Justus Annunen suffered the loss in net.
Colorado is looking for revenge, and a win, against Bakersfield this weekend.
