Eagles Continue West Coast Road Trip

The Colorado Eagles continue their west coast road trip with a stop in San Jose to play the first of two games against the San Jose Barracuda at 2:15 pm MST today. This is the fourth series for the two teams this season. The last time these teams met, they split the series.
In the first game of the series Martin Kaut was the lone Eagles scorer, finding the net at 10:54 in the second period. Eagles goaltender Justus Annunen made 22 saves on 25 shots, but the Eagles still fell to the Barracuda, 4-1.
In the second game of the series scoring started late in the game. Dylan Sikura, Jean-Luc Foudy, Sampo Ranta, Martin Kaut, and Alex Beaucage all scored goals in the last two periods. Goaltender Justus Annunen made 23 saves on 23 shots, earning his first AHL shutout and leading the Eagles to win, 5-0.
