Eagles Conclude Series with Condors

Eagles Conclude Series with Condors

May 7, 2021

The Colorado Eagles will wrap up their two-game series against the Bakersfield Condors on Friday. It is the final game of the four-game, regular-season series between the two teams and the second of the three-game road trip for Colorado.

Eagles forward Sheldon Dries would net the game’s first goal, but back-to-back tallies for Bakersfield would allow the Condors to rally for a 2-1 victory over Colorado on Wednesday. The Eagles were held to a season-low 20 shots in the contest, as Colorado has now dropped each of its last four games. Adam Werner was solid in net for the Eagles, making 25 saves on 27 shots in the loss.

The Condors will be the fourth team that the Eagles have finished their regular-season series against. Colorado has already wrapped up their series against Tucson, Henderson, and Texas. After Wednesday’s loss to Bakersfield Colorado trails the series 2-1 but holds the all-time record 11-7-0-0.
