Eagles Close Out 2021 With Set in Iowa

The Colorado Eagles travel to Des Moines, Iowa for a set of games with the Wild this week. This is the first time these two teams have faced off this season, and the first time the two teams have met since December 1, 2018.
In the 2018-19 season Colorado and Iowa met four times. The Eagles suffered a 6-5 overtime loss in the debut match-up in Iowa, followed by a 6-1 loss the following night. On home ice, the Eagles managed a 3-2 shoot-out win but followed it up with a 3-2 shoot-out loss the night after.
This leaves Colorado with a 1-1-1-1 record against the Wild.

Roster Report
Eagles forward Cal Burke and goaltender Trent Miner were recently called up to the Colorado Avalanche taxi squad. Forward Mikhail Maltsev and goaltender Hunter Miska were also called up to the taxi squad, but have already been reassigned to the Eagles along with defenseman Jordan Gross.
Goaltender Peyton Jones has been recalled to the Eagles from the Utah Grizzlies.
