Eagles Announce Lavender Eagles Fight Cancer Jerseys
Jan 9, 2024
In honor of all of those affected by cancer, the players will be wearing specialty Eagles Fight Cancer lavender jerseys during both Friday and Saturday night’s games as part of the Colorado Eagles annual "Eagles Fight Cancer" campaign, presented by UCHealth.
The jersey is clad in a base of lavender which serves as a symbol of support for all types of cancer, with accents in Avalanche blue and white that tie into the blue of the pants, helmet, and matching lavender socks.
The crest of the jersey is a white Eagles head logo with a lavender inlay.
Additionally, each of the players’ helmets will don names of cancer warriors during the game on Saturday night.
Authentic jerseys will be auctioned off online beginning January 10th and ending on Saturday, January 13th at 9pm MT, with proceeds benefiting the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund.
Replica jerseys will be released for sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 12th at the Colorado Eagles Official Team Store at Centerra and at the games, while supplies last.
In addition to Eagles Fight Cancer replica jerseys, the merchandise stand will also be selling Eagles Fight Cancer themed pucks, “mystery autograph” pucks, hats, stickers and more. A portion of the proceeds from all Eagles Fight Cancer merchandise sales will benefit the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund.
