WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, have announced that they have signed goaltender Michael Santaguida, forward Dylan Mascarin and defenseman Alexsander Goussarov to tryout agreements for the team’s upcoming training camp.
Santaguida comes to Colorado after completing a four-year career at the University of Vermont. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound netminder appeared in 72 games with the Catamounts, highlighted by a sophomore season that saw him post nine wins, a 2.08 GAA and a .923 save-percentage.
Mascarin recently finished a stellar season with the Wellington Dukes of the OJHL, in which he notched 21 goals and 38 assists in 47 regular season contests. The 6-foot, 180-pound winger also saw action in the CCHL with the Kanata Lasers and Smiths Falls Bears, as well as the SIJHL’s Thunder Bay North Stars and Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL.
Goussarov posted one goal and 10 assists in 35 games with the Colorado Thunderbirds of the RMJHL. He was a 3rd round pick of the Maine Wild in the 2016 NA3HL Draft.
The 2017-18 regular season home schedule kicks off on Friday, October 13th when the Eagles host the Utah Grizzlies. A complete schedule can be found at www.ColoradoEagles.com.
